Abraham-death
The season seven premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ may have been the most brutal of them all, taking not one but TWO of our beloved survivors. Sadly, Abraham was the first to meet Negan’s Lucille. (Courtesy of AMC)
Glenns-death
Just when we thought Glenn might actually be in the clear after Abraham’s death, Negan took Lucille to his skull and recreated the iconic — and horrific — comic book scene. (Courtesy of AMC)

Negan’s rage didn’t end with Abraham and Glenn’s death. He also put Rick through the ringer, throwing him into an all-out war with a walker horde that nearly turned him into an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)

In one of the more mysterious events of ‘The Walking Dead’s seventh season, Heath vanished without a trace after a walker battle with Tara during a supply run. Will he ever return? (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)

Carl-revealing-his-eye-socket
And how could we forget the moment Carl was forced to take his eye bandage off for Negan? The truth is we can’t, and we likely never will. The young teen was left vulnerable as he revealed his black, hollow eye socket to the villain. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Spencer-&-olivia-death-
Negan took even more lives after an unexpected visit to Alexandria turned into a blood bath. First, he gutted Spencer with a knife after the young man tried to turn Negan against Rick. Then, after Rosita took a shot and missed, Negan ordered one of his goons to kill someone — and they shot Olivia in the head with zero hesitation. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Walker-cut-offs
‘The Walking Dead’s season seven also delivered one of the coolest mass walker killings we’ve ever seen. Rick and Michonne drove two cars attached by a long, thin pole up a highway and sliced dozens — if not hundreds — of walkers in half in one fell swoop.

Daryl-lying-to-carol
Daryl and Carol finally had the reunion fans were waiting for, but it didn’t go as planned. When Carol begged Daryl to tell her what happened with the Saviors he flat-out lied to her, telling her that everyone was fine instead of revealing the truth about Glenn and Abraham’s brutal deaths.(Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Dr-carson-being-thrown-in-the-fire
Negan’s victims did not only include people from Alexandria. After Dwight convinced him that Dr. Carson was responsible for helping Sherry escape the Sanctuary, Negan picked the man up with his bare hands and thew him into a fire. It was brutal. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Eugene-being-a-turncoat
Although not very violent or brutal, one of the most shocking events of ‘The Walking Dead’s season seven was watching Eugene fall in line behind Negan. It might be the biggest betrayal of the series yet. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Michonne-thinks-rick-is-being-eaten
Michonne (and the rest of us) watched in horror as walkers descended on a live victim we were led to believe was Rick. It was a horrific moment, and Michonne was so stunned by the moment she nearly got herself killed. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Benjamin-death
Benjamin’s shocking and completely unwarranted death was truly upsetting. He was killed because of a poorly planned stunt by Richard, which leads us right into our next moment… (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Morgan-killing-richard
After giving Richard a chance to redeem himself with King Ezekiel for Benjamin’s death, Morgan snapped. He strangled Richard to death in front of the King and some of the Saviors before revealing the truth behind Benjamin’s death. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)
Sasha-sacrificing-herself-for-rosita
While everyone else was trying to wage war, Sasha and Rosita took matters into their own hands in an attempt to kill Negan. However, Sasha tricked Rosita into thinking she was helping her when instead she was saving her — locking her out of the Sanctuary and going in all alone. (Courtesy of AMC/GenePage)

As ‘The Walking Dead’s seventh season came to a close, one character, Jesus, decided to come out. He revealed to Maggie that he was gay, which is a direct nod to his comic book character who is, in fact, a gay man. (Image Courtesy of AMC/Gene Page)
